Cinigiano

Cinigiano

The town of Cinigiano is located in the province of Grosseto. The upper part of the country there are little remains of medieval walls. The churches in the country are St. Mary of the Snow built in the late fifteenth century out of the country, with adjoining hospice for pilgrims and St. Michael the Archangel of the sixteenth century which was restored in modern times. In the same time there is also the oratory of the Society of San Sebastian, a time spent in San Sigismondo renovated in the early nineteenth century. At the end of was built the Clock Tower which replaced a previous tower and was built in imitation of the Torre del Mangia Siena.
